watch Conan the Barbarian (2011) megavideo-The biggest question is how to react to the 2011 movie audiences of Conan the Barbarian, as it seems in many ways a relic of a bygone era. It 'a very serious movie that does not pretend to be something other than what it is, where the characters growl to each other and raise their swords in the sky is a powerful thrust while screaming their lungs when the music plays the heroic column sound. But somehow, for some reason, today's audiences seem to think they are above that sort of thing, and usually chuckle at these things. Sophisticated and can call stupid. But I'm rooting for the Conan the Barbarian. I hope people can appreciate for what it is but a mockery of it for the same reasons. I hope it's successful enough for the go-ahead for the planned film Red Sonja starring Amber Heard as Conan the follow-up. I'd like to see this become a franchise.

watch Conan the Barbarian (2011) megavideo-As for the actors, Jason Momoa, better known as a television actor up to this point with roles in Baywatch, North Shore, Stargate Atlantis and Game of Thrones, which have the same presence that Arnold Schwarzenegger, but deliver adequate performance anyway. Conan teenager, played by the same guy who blew everyone away as Snake Eyes in GI Joe adolescence: The Rise of Cobra is very good here. Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Season of the Witch) is his father's beard and wears out as planned, otherwise we have Stephen Lang (avatar) as a bad guy, Rose McGowan (Charmed TV and who was, ironically, has already linked to restart a Red Sonja), as his daughter, Rachel Nichols (GI Joe) that the love interest and Said Taghmaoui (GI Joe) as a friend of Conan (3 old GI Joe players in a single film? ). There is also the huge pile of muscles called Nathan Jones, who you may remember from the beginning of Troy. All doing fine and out of Perlman and Taghmaoui is quite unrecognizable.

watch Conan the Barbarian (2011) megavideo-Let me preface this review by saying that I have not seen any films by Arnold Schwarzenegger (with the exception of the opening scene of the first in a class), not a single episode of one of the television animated or live-action and have never read any of the original stories by Robert E. Howard comics or later and never played any video game. As such, I have no way to compare it with previous film or evaluate his allegiance to the works of Howard. I just charge, and review of this film solely on its own merits by so that my image has on pop culture, like Conan the Barbarian is.

watch Conan the Barbarian (2011) megavideo-Score Tyler Bates "is not particularly memorable after the first quarter, but it is still powerful, epic and effective. Marcus Nispel has really done an excellent job directing the film, and a strong sense of adventure through seeps each image. It also seems to pay tribute to John Milius in a scene at the beginning where Conan and his father forged a sword together, as the echoes and looks a lot like the opening scene of the film 1982. 3D (post-conversion) looks good and works well in the film.

watch Conan the Barbarian (2011) megavideo-The basic story is this: as Morgan Freeman sound-alike told us long ago that had these bad boys (called Archanon or something) that had the mask of bone that made them very powerful but barbarous tribes and U.S. beat to death and destroyed the mask with each tribe having a piece of the mask can not be together again. Then came the "Hyborian Age" Conan and the baby was born in a battlefield to the Cimmerian village chief and a mother who dies in the process. Years later, the young Conan is a skilled warrior and village is attacked by a guy who wants to unite the pieces of the mask. It is the last piece with the help of her daughter, the Witch and Conan has to do his father die before him. Of course, he swears revenge years later, Conan adults seeking once again to the murderers of his father.

watch Conan the Barbarian (2011) megavideo-I'll come right out and say I enjoyed this version of Conan the Barbarian. No, this is not a competitive Oscar, of course not. No, no big surprises either, everything is pretty simple. But he met all the expectations I had for a movie called "Conan the Barbarian." Like the adaptation of Robert E. other recent Howard by the producers themselves, the 2009 Solomon Kane, and perhaps more, is a perfect state of health, an effective piece of entertainment, and compared to other films with similar ambitions, including Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, The Scorpion King and The Clash of the Titans remake is much better.

watch Conan the Barbarian (2011) megavideo-First, the movie sounds great. The world we are presented is broad and expansive. In fact, Conan travels a lot and we are introduced to dozens of different environments, all beautifully designed from mergers of different cultures in the real world and with a realistic appearance. Second, the film is not afraid of violence, and definitely earns its rating R. Scenes (very) many activities ranging from very good to excellent and is also very bloody. In fact, I would even argue that the film is more bloody than the director Marcus Nispel remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday 13 combined. In other words, you do not want to take your children and disgusted might want to give this a pass because there are some really nasty scenes.
